Highlights of game week 11
In week 11, Chelsea extended their lead over Manchester City on the points table. But while Chelsea dropped a point after being held to a draw by Burnley, Manchester City won the derby over their traditional rivals, Manchester United, 2-0 away at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s 25-match unbeaten run came to an end when they were beaten 3-2 by Everton at London Stadium.
Their fine run under Patrick Vieira continued for Crystal Palace who beat Wolves, but Brentford’s poor run continued with a fourth straight loss, this time to Norwich who registered their first win of the season.
Newcastle registered a come-from-behind 1-1 draw away to Brighton though the result left them languishing in the relegation zone. And Southampton kicked off game week 11 when they thrashed Aston Villa who slid to their fifth win on the trot.
Finally, Tottenham gave new manager Antonio Conte some cause for joy as they drew 0-0 away at Everton. Watford lost 1-0 to in-form Gunners, while Leicester and Leeds played out a 1-1 stalemate at Elland Road.

What we can expect to see in game week 12
Leicester vs Chelsea: While Chelsea are bookmakers’ favourites to win this one, watch out for Vardy who has already scored 7 goals this season.
Newcastle vs Brentford: Newcastle who have gone winless in 11 games will fancy their chances when they host Brentford who have lost four in a row.
Burnley vs Crystal Palace: On the back of their form in game 11 when they beat Wolves, we fancy Crystal Palace. However, Burnley are on a three-match unbeaten run.
Aston Villa vs Brighton: Though Aston Villa have had five losses on the trot, we back them to win against Brighton who have remained winless in their last six games.
Watford vs Manchester United: Both teams are facing a decline in form recently. However, United are stronger, at least on paper, and we expect them to bank three full points.
Wolves vs West Ham: On current form, we expect West Ham to justify their favourites tag and win this one.
Norwich City vs Southampton: Norwich appeared doomed to relegation and Southampton can hope for their fourth straight win of the season.
Liverpool vs Arsenal: While Arsenal are in red-hot form with a 10-match unbeaten run, Liverpool are hard to beat at home and expected to edge this one.
Manchester City vs Everton: While Manchester City have won four of their last five, Everton have gone winless in their last five. We expect City to win this one and stay in contention for the top spot.
Tottenham vs Leeds United: While Tottenham have registered two wins and a draw in their last four games, Leeds are barely above the relegation zone. We will hand this one to Tottenham.
