“Man United should sign Sabitzer on a permanent deal”, says Paul Parker

Marcel Sabitzer has struggled a bit with getting regular game time at Man United but whenever the midfielder has been called upon, the Austrian has shown his qualities, which has led to the fact of many Man United fans wanting to sign him on a permanent basis.

We talked to the former Man United defender, Paul Parker, who shared his opinion on whether Man United should sign him or not, and the Englishman is quite keen to sign him and underlines that Sabitzer finally enjoys playing football again.

Parker also gave his thoughts on Alexis MacAllister, who has been linked to Man United on the back of a great World Cup with Argentina and a marvellous season for Brighton.

Happy Sabitzer needs to be signed on a permanent deal

Sabitzer is currently on loan from Bayern Munich and the Austrian midfielder didn’t leave Bayern Munich as the happiest man on earth, but now he is finally enjoying playing football again at Man United, which should continue after his current deal according to Parker.

“I would say that Man United should sign Sabitzer on a permanent deal. He has said multiple times that he is unhappy with the way he was treated at Bayern Munich and I don´t think it’s a good club to be in even though everything looks rosy.”

“He has played excellent when he has been given the chance, and in some way it’s a shame that he hasn’t got more game time because he is a really good player. But I think he is happy by how he has been treated at Man United, which is in big contrast to his miserable time at Bayern Munich.”

“He is a very disciplined player and I love watching him. I would certainly not argue about signing him to Manchester United. Of course, he wants to be at a club where he feels wanted and I could imagine being in Bayern Munich is tough.”

Alexis MacAllister is amazing but might not fit at Man United

Alexis MacAllister has impressed the entire football world with his excellent performances for Argentina and Brighton for the past year, which has led to a lot of rumours about him going to bigger clubs, where Man United, along a lot of big clubs, has been mentioned as a potential destination for the Argentinian.

“I’m not sure about MacAllister to Man United. I think he is an excellent player and I enjoy watching him but the way Brighton plays suits him perfectly.”

“He is playing for one of the best sides in the league and except for Man City they are the most in-form team, especially when you are looking at how well they are playing even though they got robbed by the officials against Tottenham.”

“He has to play for a team that controls the games. You can’t ask him to chase around. It might work out at Man United but I’m not sure about it and I just don’t want him to make a wrong decision because I really believe that he has a big future ahead of him.”

“But he has to be mentioned after an amazing World Cup and an amazing season for Brighton. He has this Argentinian fire in his belly and Argentinians love playing with their countrymen because they have a very tight relationship with each other and have great feelings for their country.”

“It is going to be interesting to see what fee Brighton wants for him, because he is a very good player.”
