Manchester United Turns Down Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ Documentary: Amorim’s Bold Decision
Football fans anticipating an all-access documentary on Manchester United’s 2025/2026 season will be left disappointed. Ruben Amorim, the man tasked with rebuilding the Red Devils after their worst season in decades, has firmly declined the opportunity to participate in Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ series.
Amorim, who is currently navigating a rocky squad overhaul, has made it clear that he doesn’t want cameras capturing every move behind the scenes. Reports from The Athletic’s David Ornstein confirm that United has withdrawn from months-long negotiations with Amazon, citing concerns over potential distractions to the team’s progress.

The proposed deal would have been a historic one, with Amazon offering more than £10 million—the largest payment ever for an ‘All or Nothing’ series. Previous editions featured Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham, giving fans an intimate look into the inner workings of these clubs. However, Amorim’s reluctance to allow such an intrusion into the team’s environment has put a stop to the project.
According to the report:
“United presented the proposal to Amorim after the end of the season. After receiving his feedback, the board unanimously decided to drop the idea. While the Amazon deal would have alleviated some financial pressures, Amorim believed it would be an unwelcome distraction in an already tumultuous environment.”
Amorim’s Tough Start at Old Trafford
Amorim’s decision comes as no surprise, given the challenges he’s faced since taking the helm at Manchester United. The Portuguese manager has been working tirelessly to rebuild a squad that suffered through a disastrous 2024/2025 campaign. Despite the club’s business side, including INEOS and CEO Omar Berrada, supporting the Amazon deal, Amorim stood firm in his conviction.

‘Bryan Mbeumo deal done’ as Ruben Amorim role misunderstood
This summer has been far from smooth for the Red Devils. So far, the club has only secured the signings of Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon. The pursuit of Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has hit a snag, with reports suggesting the Bees now demand significantly more than United’s latest £62.5 million offer.
United’s struggles in the transfer market are compounded by their inability to offload players. Stars like Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho are reportedly available, but potential suitors seem to be biding their time, knowing United’s desperation is likely to grow as the transfer window progresses.
Amorim’s decision to prioritize the team’s focus over a lucrative deal reflects his commitment to turning Manchester United’s fortunes around. As the club continues its rebuild, fans will be watching closely to see if his bold decisions pay off.
