Man Utd eye Juventus swap deal as Rashford, Sancho, and Garnacho futures heat up.

Man Utd eye Juventus swap deal as Rashford, Sancho, and Garnacho futures heat up.

Manchester United’s Transfer Saga: Sancho and Beyond

In a whirlwind of transfer rumors, Manchester United have reportedly been “offered” at least two Juventus players in exchange for Jadon Sancho. The saga continues as United look to cut ties with the winger after Chelsea opted out of a £25 million permanent deal, shelling out a £5 million penalty instead.

Sancho, whose £275,000-a-week wages are proving to be a stumbling block, has attracted interest from European giants Juventus, Napoli, and his former club Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce, once in the mix, have now been ruled out of the race.

But Sancho isn’t the only Red Devil on the move. Marcus Rashford, valued at £40 million, is also on the radar of Barcelona and Bayern Munich. However, his hefty £315,000-a-week salary could complicate negotiations. Reports suggest Rashford might depart on loan again, following his six-month stint at Aston Villa.

Juventus’ Swap Deal Proposal

Juventus, eager to land Sancho, have reportedly proposed a swap deal involving two players. According to the Daily Mail, the Italian giants are unlikely to cover even half of Sancho’s wages, prompting them to offer Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic as part of the deal. United boss Ruben Amorim, keen on bolstering his attacking options, might view Vlahovic as a tempting replacement.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are rumored to be eyeing Sancho as a potential successor to Chelsea-bound Jamie Gittens.

Garnacho in High Demand

Alejandro Garnacho, another standout name in United’s squad, is drawing serious interest from Napoli. The Serie A champions see Garnacho as a prime target, with Chelsea and Spurs also reportedly in the mix. United’s ambitious £60 million asking price reflects Garnacho’s rising stock, especially after Bruno Fernandes rejected a move to Al Hilal.

Antony and Malacia Updates

Antony, who rediscovered his form during a loan spell at Real Betis, is eager to make the move permanent. However, the Spanish club’s £30 million offer falls short of United’s expectations for a player they signed for £86 million just three years ago. A loan with an obligation to buy could be on the cards.

Tyrell Malacia, back at Old Trafford after PSV Eindhoven opted against a permanent £8.3 million deal, is unlikely to feature in Amorim’s plans for the upcoming season.

Pre-Season Looms

With pre-season training set to begin on Monday, United face a significant challenge in offloading players like Rashford and Garnacho. Amorim has made it clear he wants both out, but the financial complexities of their high wages could delay any swift resolutions.
