The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has officially announced the return of the T20 Mumbai League, reigniting the city’s cricketing passion after a six-year hiatus. The third edition of the league is set to take place at the iconic Wankheemde Stadium from May 26 to June 8, featuring eight franchises battling for supremacy in a thrilling cricketing spectacle.
Adding to the excitement, former Indian cricketers Abhishek Nayar and Paras Mhambrey have been named as mentors for the Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri teams, respectively. The league has also unveiled an impressive coaching lineup, with seasoned professionals taking charge of the teams. Omkar Salvi will lead SoBo Mumbai Falcons, while Rajesh Pawar will guide ARCS Andheri. Atul Ranade has been appointed as the head coach of Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, and Amit Dani will mentor Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals. Other notable appointments include Prashant Shetty for Eagle Thane Strikers, Pravin Tambe for North Mumbai Panthers, and Vinod Raghvan for Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs.
