He elaborated on the domino effect of such moments: “If that breakthrough comes at a critical juncture, like dismissing a set batter, it can slow the run rate and shift momentum back in favor of the bowling side. It’s a chain reaction that has undoubtedly helped bowlers this season.”
Prasidh’s words are backed by his stellar performance in IPL 2025. With 16 wickets to his name, he sits second on the Purple Cap leaderboard, just behind Josh Hazlewood, who has 18 scalps. Against his former team, the Rajasthan Royals (RR), Prasidh will be aiming to deliver another match-winning spell and reclaim the top spot in the race for the Purple Cap.
